Hydrotherapy is now more recognised by the vet profession, and we are proud to offer people the chance to swim their dogs in a clean and safe environment.
Why should I let my dog swim? Hydrotherapy is the ideal way of gaining and maintaining fitness without causing damage to ligaments, muscle and bone.
Hydrotherapy is ideal for:
- Muscle rebuilding pre/post surgical condition
- If your dog suffers from any of the following:-
Arthritis, spinal injury, obesity, muscle degeneration, hip and elbow dysplasia, paralysis, CDRM, geriatrics, sprains and strains - then subject to veterinary approval swimming may help to give your dog a better quality of life.
All owners swim their dogs entirely at their own risk, any dog which has an ongoing veterinary problem must receive veterinary authorisation prior to swimming.
Drying facilities are available on site.
Our hydrotherapist has experience in the animal industry, in vets, kennels and has a diploma from Plumpton College in Hydrotherapy.

Dear Peter & Heidi,
We would like to thank you so much for the difference you made to Max's life. There is no doubt that his weekly swims kept him agile and energetic in his later life, and certainly accelerated the healing of both his knee operations in 2004 and his leg injury in 2005. Many found it hard to believe that he had such extensive arthritis and were surprised when they discovered his age!
We are sure that Max would have given up on life much sooner had he not had the benefit of hydrotherapy. Sadly, the aggressive form of lymphoma he developed made that decision for him.
With fond memories of our times at the pool and our very best wishes,
Maggie & Paul
